Procedure of Organizational Management

Governance and Staff of SHEDF:

General committee of 15 members who bring many years of experience in different development sector governs SHEDF. An elected executive committee of 09 member’s guidance policy and program decision through the regular boat meeting. The General committee meets annually and EC quarterly. An experienced and professional staff team headed by the executive director is responsible materializing policy decisions and palling implementing and managing SHEDF programs and activities. The Executive Director is delegated by the Governing Board to run and manage the SHEDF office and oversee the implementation of all its programs. Regular meetings are held to review progress and issues of concern. A staff meeting is held every two weeks for information sharing where all issues relating to finance, admin and program is discussed. Furthermore, the ED sits with the program and finance team once a month to review compliance to policies and progress of the different programs. Besides the ED, Program Coordinators are in charge of large and cross cutting programs. The Program Managers, Operations, Finance Officers, Admin Staff and some Support staff make up the total staff strength of SHEDF.

SHEDF has experience staff members who are very much sincere, honest and dedicated according to organizational expectation. The activities implemented by a staff of 21 members and voluntary service 24 member headed by the Executive Director, who is accountable to the Executive Committee. SHEDF has developed a bottom up program monitoring system, being implemented by managerial staff. They report to the Executive Director. The staff Members of the organization belongs to team spirit.
